TexMex Taco Soup (Phase 3)

1 pound ground beef
½ cup onion, diced
½ cup green bell pepper, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
2 tsp sea salt
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 can (26 ounce) Rotel tomatoes, with juice
1 cup beef broth
½ cup heavy cream

In a large soup pot, brown the ground beef with the onion, bell pepper and garlic; drain well.

Add the spices and cook a couple minutes. Drop the block of cream cheese into the meat.
With the back of a wooden spoon, smash it into the meat until no bits of white remain.

Add the Rotel, broth and heavy cream and mix well. Simmer for 30 minutes.
